I Can't Believe!!!

I can't believe... Its is already wednesday and halfway to the weekend!

I can't believe... I got my first tan of the summer on Monday!  I am usually so much darker by now:)

I can't believe... My nephew graduated from High School Friday:(  I feel even older now!

I can't believe... How much I enjoy blogging.  I never thought I would love it this much!

I can't believe... How much fun I had Monday just laying by the pool and having girl talk with my sister and friends!!

I can't believe... How Blessed I am!!!

Weekend Shenanigans.....

 

1.  We started off the weekend cleaning out our Garage!!  It look so much better!

2.  A friend of mine gave me some curtains for my bedroom, so we put them up:)

3.  Pressure washed our back porch:)))  It looks awesome!

4.  My wonderful parents planted us some Pretty flowers!

5.  Pressure washed the front steps and put my new wreath on my front door.

6.  My sweet hubby hung my laundry sign!  Love It!!!

7.  Made yummy pancakes Monday morning.

8.  Getting my tan on:)

9.  Lounging by the pool!  Happy Memorial Day!

First and foremost I am so thankful that Jesus didn't give up on me.  Without Him none of us would be FREE!  I am also thankful that Mercy Said No!!  I love this song!!

I just want to say thank you to all who have served and are serving our country!!  Expecially my dad who served in the United States Navy.  I am so proud to be an American!!  My parents always made me aware of the freedom we have in this country and the price that was paid to get that freedom.

The Sunday Social...

This is my first link up with Ashley Lately.  Im so excited.  Here goes....

1. What is your best summer memory as a kid?

I would have to say going out in the backyard with my dad  and practicing softball. 

2. What is your favorite summer drink?

Sweet Tea.  I live in the south and nothing tops sweet tea (well except maybe Dr. Pepper lol).

3. What is your favorite summer TV show?
Well I have to say that this is a 3-way tie.  I love Necessary Roughness, Covert Affairs & Suits.  My husband and I watch alot of USA in the summer:)

4. What is the best outdoor summer activity?

Swimming

5. What are your summer vacation essentials?

Flip Flops, Baseball Cap (sometimes), Ponytail holders, Tanning lotion, Glass of Sweet Tea, Camera, Magazines, Tablet, Rook Cards, I could go on and on:)

New Lights....

I know these are not great pictures, but these are the lights down our driveway.  This is one of the many things I loved about this house before we bought it!  There are four lights total.  They automatically come on when it gets dark.  I love that!  I think they add beauty to our house.  Anyway, over the last few years one of the fixtures broke so we were missing one.  In other words we had a pole but no light.  My husband Wade was at Lowe's one day and noticed these fixtures for an awesome price.  So of course we had to get them:)  On our way home from lunch and church Sunday we went to Lowe's.  When we got home it was raining so I decided to take a little nap.  While I was asleep my sweet hubby put them up.  They are metal and glass where the others were plastic.   They are so pretty!!!!

My Home Away From Home.....

Last summer my husband and I made our 3rd trip to Tybee Island, GA.  I love it there.  I could actually see myself living there one day.  We got to spend part of this vacation with my parents.  They had never been to Tybee or Savannah.  We had a blast!  These are just a few of the pictures I took.  I will be adding more at a later time.  I hope we get to go back SOON!!
