Weekend Fun!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I guess you have noticed I took a little time of from my blog.  Hopefully now I am back in full swing:)  Here are some snip-its from my weekend!

I got a little color change done to my hair Friday night.  Something about getting your hair done that just relaxes you!  Saturday began as a work day.  Cleaning, laundry and allot of other not so fun house work lol.  It was all with it because we had friends coming over to watch the Auburn vs Mississippi State game.  We won by the way War Eagle!!  By the way my husbands team won too.  He would say RTR, but I can't say that lol.  Anyway, I had a terrific evening with friends doing nails, eating and watching football!!:)  Sunday, we had a great service at church then a fun lunch with friends:)

It was a fun and productive weekend!!

Weekend Fun!!!

I had a terrific weekend.  It started off Friday night with my sister doing the red ombre in my hair:)  I love it!  While I was at the shop I got to do some nails.  Doing nails is another one of my hobbies:)  I love the way they turned out.  After a long day at work and night at the beauty shop I made it home for some couch cuddle time with my hubby!  We woke up Saturday morning a little hungry, so we decided to head to huddle house for brunch:)  (we woke up a little late lol)
Then it was home for some pool time:)  Thus is becoming my Saturday thing!  Saturday night we went to the drive in with some to see Wolverine.  It was so much fun!!!
Sunday was church!  We had a wonderful service then headed home for lunch.  My hubby loves DCI (Drum Corp International) so went spent the afternoon watching the competition.  Well he watched more than me I had to have a nap lol:)

Weekend Fun!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  I had a very lazy one:) Here are a few snip-its from mine:
It started with a very hot Friday!  When I got in my car to leave work it was 93°.  By the time I reached the beauty shop the temp was reading 95°.  At that point I couldn't wait for Saturday to get here so I  could lay in the pool.  Anyway there was no time for pool, because it was time to get a new hair color:)  As you can see by my previous posts, I love to change my hair color.  This time I am trying the ombre, except I'm doing red on bottom not blonde.  This week we just did the first step and put dark all over.  Friday I will get the final step, so excited!!!!
On to Saturday, my hubby and I slept late, and then went to lay in the pool.  It was so relaxing!!!  After about 2.5 hours we decided to get out.  It was just in time to because it started raining!  Now it was time for lunch!!  While my hubby made some yummy burgers on the grill, I sat on the porch and enjoyed the rain.  As I was sitting there minding my own business I felt like I was being watched lol.  When I looked around I saw these two precious eyes (Willow) looking at me through the window:)  Isn't she beautiful!!
After lunch I had a much needed nap before cuddle time on the couch watching shows on the DVR.  I told you it was a lazy Saturday:)
Next up Sunday!!!  Started the day off right with Church!!  It was my day in the nursery so I got to spend some time spoiling some kids:)  They always make me smile!  After church it was home for lunch and laundry.  I know sounds like a terrible combination. Lunch and nap sounds better lol, but it had to be done.  Anyway, I finished the laundry, did my nails and finished the night with more cuddle time watching TV.

Friday
Normally I am very excited about Friday, bit this Friday was different.  Mainly because I had to visit the dentist:(.  I have had a problem with TMJ since I was 16.  It is terrible!!!  My jaws have been very swollen for several months now.  Thankfully after my visit I hope I am on the mend.  Back to wearing my splint every night (I look like I'm going to play football instead of going to sleep lol), but if it helps I'm all for it!

That night I went to work at my moms beauty shop and did this super cute Atlanta Braves design in my friends toes.:)

When I got home I had a wonderful surprise..... My July Birchbox:))))  I can't wait to try everything.

Saturday
This was a sad day.  We didn't say good bye, but see you later to my God-given niece Brittany's mom.  My sweet friend Muriel went with me to do her nails.  She wanted French tip with a little flower.  They looked beautiful.

That night Me, Wade, Muriel & Greg went to see Phil Robertson.  He was great!  He didn't just speak, he brought the word:). 

We finished up the night with dinner at a local Mexican restaurant.

Sunday

First was church, then lunch and finally home for baseball and a nap.  I love Sunday afternoon naps.  After my much needed nap we went to Sonic for a Sonic Blast.  Yummy!!!!!

Weekend Fun!!!!

I Hope everyone had a terrific weekend!!  Mine was extra good because I had 2 days off from work and spent time with my wonderful family!!  Here are some snip-its from my weekend....

Friday
I was off work, so I got to be lazy for most of the day!  Stayed in the bed way to long :)  cuddling with my babies and watching a Charlie's Angels marathon!  (you won't see a pic of me cuddling with Gizmo because he only cuddles with Wade)  After some lazy time I did some thrift store shopping with my friend Muriel.  We had so much fun!  Finished the day with movie and cuddle time with my hubs!:)

 

Saturday
This was a no make up day:)  I don't have those very often because I look absolutely terrible, well you will see from the picture below.  Anyway my hubs likes it when I wear a hat and no makeup so I did it for him.  We went to a local Chinese Restaurant for lunch, then just piddled (that is a southern word for Aimlessly spending time lol).  That night we had done friends over for dinner and a movie.

Sunday
Church was first of course, then home for lunch and a nap:)  I had my nap with Piper.  He loves to cuddle:) 

I am so Blessed!!  Hope you had a great weekend too!!

Went home to relax after a long day at work!  Stayed up watching Netflix with my hubby!

Saturday

Piper decided to wake us up!  BTW I think he is part human, I mean what can sits like this lol.
We got up and went to camp for the youth at our church.  It was awesome!  We were only there for Saturday, but really enjoyed getting to know the youth better!!  They had free tine and I got to play a little volleyball with them.  Might I say I am too old for that!! lol

I got to meet this precious dog Harley.  He loved to jump in the pool and retrieve tennis balls:)

We acted goofy, then went fora ride on the Polaris:)

Sunday

We had 3 visitors stay with us from the camp so we had to get up a little earlier on Sunday for church!!  Church was awesome as usual!!  Lunch at Cracker barrel, then I went home and spent some time relaxing in the pool:)

Finished up Sunday night Chillin on the couch watching TV with the hubs.

Friday
After a long day at work, I went to my moms beauty shop to work some more lol.  Technically I work there on Friday night, but really I get to hang out with my mom and sister.  Most if the time I get something new done to my hair:)  I am always up for a change lol.  In the past few weeks I have gotten turquoise, purple streaks & red streaks:)  This past Friday night it was time for a trim and my roots done.  I love a fresh cut!! 

When I got home I had received a package in the mail:)  It was my crocheted booties from Laila Charming Pieces!!  I absolutely LOVE them!!  Check out her store on Etsy.

                                                                              

Saturday
My hubby and I lounged by the pool for a few hours.  It was awesome!!  I had one if those days where I thought I wasn't getting any sun and ended up with allot of sunburn.  Good news is it didn't hurt.  Then it was time to get the yard ready for our cookout with friends after church on Sunday!

Sunday
I love Sundays!!!  Went to church and got or worship on!!!  After church we had a cookout with some friends from church.  My hubby made burgers and hot dogs on the grill.  We also had French fries, baked beans, Yummy cocoa puff muffins with caramel, chocolate syrup and ice cream and Coconut Cream cake.  It was all so delicious!!  Then Muriel and I sat by the pool to let Jenny swim.  That night my hubby and I spent relaxing night in the couch watching Netflix.

We had a terrific weekend, but they never seen long enough.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend too!!

My Weekend Adventures.......

I had a wonderful weekend!!  I will start with Friday (I consider Friday the weekend lol) 
Went to a company lunch/BBQ at my hubby's office.  They had ribs, green beans, hash brown casserole ( thus was my favorite) & chocolate pie (yummy).  I had a great time!!
That night I went to my moms beauty shop and helped her shampooing and cleaning. 
Then went home and spent some relaxing times on the couch with my hubby.:)  This is always fun!
Saturday
I had a photo shoot, so Wade went to his parents in Georgia to help his dad and spend some fathers day time:)
I got to take some pictures of Ariel and Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid Play.  We went to a local lighthouse, yes we have a lighthouse in northern Alabama.  It was my first time seeing it, so I was like a child in amazement lol. 

Anyway, after 5 hours of taking pictures (yes 5 hrs) we were all starving.  We had lunch at the mall.  I had yummy pizza.  I know that's not in my diet, but it was spoon good.   Also I got to spend some time with my best friend Muriel!!  Her daughter was Ariel.   Finally the girls and I had some relaxing time by the pool.  It was a tiring, but good day.

Sunday
First of all I love my Dad so much!!  He has always and week always be my hero!  We had a great fathers day.  After church we went to Top O' The River and ate with my Dad and the rest of our family.  I think there was 25 of us.  It was so yummy!!  Then my hubby and I went on to or house for a much needed nap.  There is nothing like a Sunday afternoon nap! 

That was my weekend.  Hope you had a great weekend too!  It is almost time for another one!!!:)

High Five For Friday!!!

I am so glad its Friday!!  I get to spend the weekend with my second set of parents!!  Wade's mom and dad are coming to visit for a couple of days:)  I love spending time with our families!!

1.  I just love wearing comfy clothes to work.  Love my ripped jeans and slip on tennis shoes:)
2.  Love rehearsing with these wonderful people on Wednesday night!!!
3.  Made pancakes for breakfast Monday!!  yummy!!
4.  I decided to do patriotic nails this week & I wanted something cute!!:)
5.  My parents got me this adorable frog for my flower bed!!  Isn't it the cutest thing!!( I collect frog things!!:))

Weekend Shenanigans.....

 

1.  We started off the weekend cleaning out our Garage!!  It look so much better!

2.  A friend of mine gave me some curtains for my bedroom, so we put them up:)

3.  Pressure washed our back porch:)))  It looks awesome!

4.  My wonderful parents planted us some Pretty flowers!

5.  Pressure washed the front steps and put my new wreath on my front door.

6.  My sweet hubby hung my laundry sign!  Love It!!!

7.  Made yummy pancakes Monday morning.

8.  Getting my tan on:)

High Five For Friday!:)

First of all I want to say that today is a very bittersweet day for me.  The first baby I ever bonded with is graduating high school.  I am so proud of the Man he has become, but I am also sad that he has grown up.  This is my sister's son Nickolas.  He was only 4 lbs when he was born and now he is over 6 ft tall.  I love him so much as if he were my own son and will always cherish our memories. 

Congratulations Nick!!  I love you!!

1.  We spent some time with Wade's grandmother last weekend!  I always love to see her!  She is such a blessing!

2.  Our niece Meaghen is moving up to middle school:(  Where is the time going?  My babies are growing up.  She is becoming a beautiful young lady!!

3.  Love my purple streaks in my hair.  I think I need some more lol!

4.  Cleaning out my bags and found these adorable cat stickers:)  Yes they will be appearing on everything (cards, notes etc....)

5.  Started back using My Fitness Pal app.  I love it!  It really lets me know what is healthy to eat.  I have lost 6 lbs:)  Yay Me!!
