My new Chevron scarf.  I absolutely love this pattern!!  I like the green because my sisters kids go to school at Hokes Bluff and there colors are green and white!  I purchased this scarf at none other than......Dollar General.  DG has become one of my favorite stores.  They have very cute clothes, shoes and decorations.  I love DG!!

Thank Him

Thank God in not only the good times, but even more in the bad times!!  Regardless of what is going on  in our life He is still on the throne and is in control! God blesses us even when we cant see it.  When I sit and think of all my blessings I am overwhelmed at the grace God has given me.

The Bible

Last night my husband and I began watching The Bible miniseries (I know we are behind a little).  I found myself glued to the television waiting to see what would happen next.  Being raised in church I have heard all of the Bible stories and knew the ending,  but there is something refreshing about seeing it with my own eyes.  How awesome it must have been to hear Gods audible voice!    I believe this is one of the greates tv shows I have ever seen.  What a way to reach people!   I would encourage everyone to sit down with your family and watch this show.  I cant wait for the next episode!!

Trust God One Day at a Time

I don't know about you, but I have always had a problem with worry.  If i don't have something to worry about I will borrow something from someone to worry about.  I am learning to trust God and not worry.  I know he has everything under control and there is no limit to His power.  Trust Him in ALL circumstances!

The Lord rejoices over us with Singing!  Isn't that an awesome thought, that while we are worshipping Him down here He is rejoicing over us with a song.  I am so unworthy of the Lord to sing me a song.  I just want to close my eyes and here Him sing to me.  Talk about experiencing peace, that is it.  This world can not offer us the songs that He can!!  Relax in the Lord and listen to His voice.  He does give us many Blessings, but at the same time some Blessings have to be looked for.  LISTEN TO HIS VOICE!

My Nails!!

I had acrylic nails for 3 years and finally decided to take care of my natural nail.  They were paper thin at first, but I tried to be patient.  After about a year they became strong, so I purchased some UV polish and light.  I was a little skepticle at first and wondered if it would really help with polish chipping.  Well it does work!!  I can get about 2 weeks out of 1 application of polish.  I love it!

Learn to Live

In order to overcome obstacles and problems in our life we must look to the one who overcame the world.  He is the only Hope we have!  This world will only bring us trouble if we do not look to Christ and through His eyes.  He will comfort you more and more every time you look to Him and Trust Him!!  This world is fill of chains of bondage and only Christ hold the key to remove the chains.  The Peace, Love and Joy that He gives can never be taken away from you!

Waiting, Trusting & Hoping

Trust is the central most important response God wants from His children.  When we wait on God to work it is evident to Him that our trust is in Him.  Waiting, Hoping & Trusting are 3  strands in a very important chain   Trust is the center strand that provides strength.

Walk by Faith

As we take steps of Faith daily we should depend on Christ.  If we walk on the safe path without taking any chances we will never see the joy of Christ woking through us!  It is not important how strong we are, but how strong He is.  His power is endless and limitless.  He will never give us more than we can handle.  His timing is perfect!   2 Corinthians 5:7(NKJV) For we walk by Faith, not by sight.

Seek HIS Face

God is constantly with us!  He wants us to save our best striving for SEEKING HIS FACE!  Anything we desire more than Him becomes an idol.  I am trying to get better at this.  Sometimes I dont trust God with the desires of my heart, but I am getting a little better at it everyday.  I talk with God about my life and things I would like to have in my life.  I ask if you are reading this to please keep me in your prayers that I would allow God to take control of my life more!  I want to see things from His perspective!  If I seek Him first and foremost I know that the rest of my life will fall into place, piece by piece.

Jesus Calling

I want to begin by saying that I absolutely love my devitional book "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young.  The way it is written it is like Jesus is speaking directly to me☺.  It is so encouraging!! The first line in todays devotion was "Let ME help you through this day".  Many times I try to get through the day and difficult times by myself, but I am not alone.  I must rely on Him constantly!

Quiet Time

This morning as I read my devotional I began thinking about all of the many blessings God has given me.  I have a wonderful husband, terrific family and wonderful church family.  When I think about these things the problems I think I have are nothing.  I know nothing is bigger than God!  God can fit everything into a pattern for good, but we have to trust him.  He may not remove the problems, but His wisdom is sufficient to bring GOOD out of every one of them!

Morning Quiet Time

This mornings devotion was about worry.  I dont know about you, but this is something I struggle with.  God does not want us to worry because he has it all taken care of.  Sometimes when I sit and think about negative things I can hear God say "I got this"!  The best way to fight worry is to be in continual communication with God.  Filling yourself with Gods presence removes ALL fear.

"Who of you by worring can add a single hour to his life?  Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?"
