High Five for Friday

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week!  My has been ok.  I haven't felt good the last few days, so I am ready for the weekend!

Here are some snip-its from my week:

1.  This is a rare experience, but Willow sat in Wades lap while we watched some TV.  She is not a lap kitty:( so we enjoy it when she does it!:)
2.  I eat lunch every Tuesday with my mom (in the pic with me), sister and brother-in-law.  This week was Logans and it was yummy!!
3.  Finally gave myself a much needed manicure!  I was pleased with the way they turned out!
4.  I received my first Julep Maven box.  So far I'm impressed!
5.  I don't know if this is a hawk or eagle, but whatever it was it was huge.  I had to get a picture:)

Hope you have a great weekend!!

Life is a Gift!!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!  We had a wonderful time at church yesterday.  During the sermon I was reminded of several key things that I need to remember.  I love how God can show you things you need exactly when you need them!

1.  Life is a Gift!
2.  The Purpose of my existence is to glorify God!
3.  God's divine time table is always accomplished.
4.  God has work for us to do!  Not work to earn our salvation, but work because we are saved!
5.  Eternal life is not Heaven, it is knowing God and being in a love relationship with Him!

January Birchbox

I was so excited when I came home last night and received my January Birchbox.  Everyone I get one it us like getting a present:)  I was very pleased with the things in this box and i can't wait to try them!

1.  Nail Rock - Every kit comes with two pieces: a polish for a solid foundation and a pot that houses a textured topper. Accent options include Nail Sequin, for the ultimate disco-ball mani; Nail Glitter, to create serious sparkle; Nail Caviar, for a rich encrusted look; and Nail Velvet, which leaves a luxe matte finish.
2.  Reviver Dry Deodorant Swipes for Clothes 6 pack - Reviver wipes use a blend of dry, deodorizing compounds to remove persistent odors, replacing them with the scent of just-washed laundry. Their reusable formula is designed for versatility, tackling everything from smoke, food, and pet odor to post-workout funk.
3.  Juara Candlenut Body Cream - Richly nourishing candlenut oil sinks deep into skin to banish roughness and leave skin soft and supple. As if that weren’t enough, it’s backed by nourishing illipe butter, rice bran oil, and avocado oil.
4.  Besame Cosmetics Classic Color Lipstick - This lipstick may look old school, but the formula is decidedly modern—it’s full of good-for-you ingredients like aloe, green tea, and vitamins A, C, and E. The nontoxic, semi-matte formula exceeds EU safety standards, and the rich pigment glides on smoothly with a feather-proof finish. Choose from a stunning variety of vintage-inspired colors.
5. Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle -  This paraben- and sulfate-free detangler seals the cuticles (the microscopic scales that compose the outermost layer of each strand of hair). It also smooths and moisturizes, thereby minimizing frizz, while safeguarding color and adding shine. Lastly, it provides protection against UV rays and heat. Happily, it accomplishes all this through a weightless, non-greasy formula that leaves behind an airy floral scent.

Nails......

If you have read my blog you know I enjoy doing nails!  (If you know me you know the previous statement is an understatement lol)  I Love to do nails:)  i have my own personal rolling bag full of nail stuff!

Anyway, I love to change the color of my nails too often to go to the nail salon all the time so I started doing then myself.

Below is the step by step instructions of what i do:
Make sure all polish is removed from nails and they are clean.
1.  Apply 1 coat of Sache clear base coat.  Make sure to coat your entire nail.
2.  Your favorite polish color.  The color i have listed is Nina Ultra Pro Never Glum Plum.  I love this color for winter.
3.  Apply 1 coat of Seche Ultra V UV-Activated Topcoat.
4.  Put nails under Gel curing UV lamp for 5 minutes.  (Repeat steroids 2 and 3 three times)
5.  Finish with 1 coat of Out The Door fast drying Topcoat.  This polish makes the nails have a shiny finish.
This usually last about 2 weeks before chipping.
I don't know about you, but when my nails look good I feel good:)

All Your Heart

We all go through difficult times and struggles in our lives.  It is in these times that we must fully rely and trust God!  Being raised in a preachers home I learned at an early age to rely on God.  My parents always taught us to trust Him in ALL things!
Yesterday I had the privilege to sing in a choir celebrating the Godly legacy of a true Man of God.  He loved everyone he came into contact with.  He taught us all to LOVE people no matter what!  Even when he was sick he was still preaching and caring for others.  Now he is in Heaven with a brand new body worshipping the Lord.
"God is Good all the time, All the time God is Good" -Brother Phillip Ellen
We should all strive to live our lives as examples of Christ's love.  Yes we will all make mistakes, but we are all forgiven.
